Online Acid Injection

Lime scale formation is a significant issue in many technical systems, particularly in oil production processes. Scale typically accumulates in equipment such as SSSVs in wells, master and wing valves, choke valves on Xmas trees, flow lines, produced water systems, separators, flair drums, hydro cyclones, coolers, heat exchangers, and cooling water systems. The presence of scale reduces flow, increases pressure drops, impairs heat transfer, and in the worst cases, causes blockages, corrosion, or leaks, which can lead to costly production losses and shutdowns.

While traditional methods such as chemical or mechanical cleaning (e.g., hydro jetting) can remove scale, they often necessitate halting production, which is costly. TSR specializes in “live” de-scaling, performing these operations on active systems without causing any production downtime. This minimizes operational disruption and ensures continued productivity during maintenance.
