Services – Recertification / Repairs – Petrotec offers complete recertification of couplings to API 671 or other applicable industry standards. This process includes a comprehensive mechanical and metallurgical evaluation, updates to the design to meet current standards, glass bead blast cleaning and hand polishing, and the replacement of flexible elements (disc packs) where applicable. All hardware—shims, bolts, nuts, and washers—is replaced, and the coupling is precisely rebalanced to its original specifications. Finally, each unit is packaged in a custom crate with a hinged lid and hasp to ensure secure storage and protection.
