Instrument Calibration
Calibration Services of Electrical (DC & Low Frequency), temperature, humidity, pressure, vacuum, force, torque, mass, volume, light, sound, vibration and dimensional parameters – ISO/IEC 17025:2017
High Static Calibration of DP Transmitters using Twin Post DWT:
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited calibration from differential pressure ranges 50 to 1100mbar at Static Pressures up to 200 bar and analysis, reporting using K-View software.
Accredited Calibration of Orifice Plates:
Accredited calibration of Orifice Plates in accordance with ISO 5167-2:2022 covering Flatness, Surface Roughness, Plate thickness, Edge thickness, Edge Sharpness, Concentricity, Bore diameter, Bevel Angle, and Upstream and Downstream surface evaluation – ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited.
Field Calibration of Instruments - Transmitters and Densitometers on Metering Skids:
Custody Transfer Metering Skids are used for transferring fluids/gases from a seller to buyer. Even a small error in flow rate or quantity can result in huge monetary losses over time. Measurements from uncalibrated meters can be challenged legally in resulting disputes. As per, QatarEnergy Guidelines for the measurement of hydrocarbon fluids Doc No. SN-MES-GDL-006 Rev 3.0, periodic calibration by an independent accredited calibration facility is mandatory.

Calibration of Gas Detectors:
We deal with calibration of both portable and fixed area gas detectors of multiple brands like MSA, Crowcon, Honeywell, RAE, Industrial Scientific and others.
Calibration of Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors:
Flaw detectors must identify cracks, voids, inclusions and other material discontinuities. If not calibrated, properly; small or subtle defects may be missed, and non-existent flaws may be falsely identified. We also observe drift in performance, and wear & tear of probes or transducers.
Three Phase Energy/Tariff/Bulk Meter Calibration:
In power purchase agreements between Kahramaa and the bulk customers, both parties need to know exactly how much power (active & reactive) has been delivered within a specified billing period. Meter calibration is the key to attaining that certainty. We are capable of handling multiple brands like – CEWE, Landis+Gyr, Itron, Sensus, Scheider Electric, ABB, Kamstrup, Secure Meters, Honeywell etc – ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited.
Calibration of small volume/bidirectional provers using Water Draw Method – ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited:
As per QatarEnergy Guidelines for the measurement of hydrocarbon fluids Doc No. SN-MES-GDL-006 Rev 3.0 and API MPMS Chapter 4.9.2, periodic calibration by an independent accredited calibration facility is mandatory to verify the shift between two consecutive calibrations and repeatability remains within ±0.02%.
Calibration of flowmeters using Volumetric, Gravimetric and Ultrasonic Methods:
Calibration of flow meters using either Volumetric (API Chapter 4.2 and 4.4) OR Gravimetric (API Chapter 12.2) OR Ultrasonic Methods depending on their specification and process requirements, is essential to ensure measurement accuracy, which directly impacts safety, compliance, and financial accountability.
Calibration of large Bidirectional Provers by Master Meter-Compact Prover method:
As per, QatarEnergy Guidelines for the measurement of hydrocarbon fluids Doc No. SN-MES-GDL-006 Rev 3.0 and API MPMS Chapter 4.9.3, periodic calibration by an independent accredited calibration facility is mandatory to verify the shift between two consecutive calibrations and repeatability remains within ±0.02%.
Performance Evaluation of Process Gas Chromatographs as per ISO 10723:2012, Inspection of Gas Quality Measurement System as per ISO 17020:2012 – UKAS accredited.
Flow Computer Services:
Flow Computer Verification, Flow Computer Computation Checks, Flow rate calculation verification, Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) Checks of various brands like Omni, Emerson Floboss, Yokogawa, Honeywell, ABB, Kessler and others are done.
Refurbishment of Provers to industry standards:
Provers are devices used primarily in metrology, calibration, and flow measurement to test and verify the accuracy of flow meters – especially in industries like Oil and Gas, chemical processing, and water utilities. Provers must be precise and reliable- otherwise, any calibration done with them can cause downstream errors. Refurbishment by an skilled technical team helps in maintaining accuracy, extend equipment life, avoids downtime, ensures safety, and supports traceability.
Calibration of Helium Weighbridges at various locations in accordance with GPA -8186 and BS-EN 45501:2015:
