Performed within 18 months of installation, this basic check identifies visible defects without the use of specialized equipment.
Close Inspection
Conducted within 36 months, this includes all aspects of a visual inspection plus the use of access equipment to detect less obvious defects. Detailed Inspection
Performed within 54 months or 4.5 years, this comprehensive inspection involves opening enclosures, using tools and test equipment, and may require equipment to be de-energized for safe inspection.
